You can get extended picture information including a histogram by pressing the DISPLAY
button. The information displayed includes folder and image number, ISO sensitivity,
exposure mode, shutter speed, aperture, exposure compensation, white balance, focus mode,
file size, image size and quality, date and time. The preview thumbnail shows over-exposed
areas by blinking them.
The playback image can be magnified up to 10X by pressing the zoom control to Tele. You can
stop at any enlargement step and scroll around inside the image with the 4-way selector.
Pressing the Set button allows you to scroll through stored images at the current degree of
magnification being used.
Pressing the zoom control to Wide enables the thumbnail index mode.
Here you can quickly search through the stored images and find one to playback in
full screen mode.
The Play mode menu with options for Protecting images from accidental erasure, Rotate to re-
orient portrait mode images for proper display on a TV screen, Record Sound Only, Erase All
images, the Slide Show option lets you select an interval time between images and start
and stop a presentation, Print Order and Transfer Order options lets you embed DPOF (Digital
Print Order Format) information on the card so any selected pictures can be easily printed
by DPOF-compliant printers or services, you can use Red-eye correction as well as make your
images more creative with the my colors function.
The My Colors allows you to change the color of you images, like here we are converting an
image to black and white.
Movies can be played back on the camera's LCD screen or a TV set when using the included
A/V cable. Monoraul sound is played back through the camera's speaker or stereo
audio when connected to a TV set.
Pressing the INFO button will display all the information about the current movie clip.
Image size, frame rate, exposure compensation, metering, white balance, the histogram, file
size, length of clip and time and date of capture are displayed.
When playing movies you can access the Edit menu to clip portions of
recorded videos when needed.
You can also record/play stereo audio with the Sound Recorder Function. |
