Building on the success of their PowerShot ELPH 300 HS we reviewed earlier this year, Canon has unveiled the ELPH 310 HS. This unit embraces all that we loved about the 300 HS, like a 12-megapixel CMOS sensor, Canon's HS (High Sensitivity) System, and loads of useful exposure options. However, Canon has added some appealing new upgrades, like a new 8x optical zoom lens with true optical image stabilization, a larger 3.0-inch LCD screen, and six stylish new colors.
Canon has also upgraded their proven Smart Auto exposure system, which gives users the ultimate in ease of use. You no longer have to worry about difficult exposure settings, or even which scene mode to choose. The camera does all that for you, so you can concentrate on the framing that sweet shot.
