The following samples compare the Nikon D200 equipped with the AF-S Nikkor 18-200mm 1:3.5-5.6 G ED lens and the Canon 30D with EF 24-105mm f/4 L lens. All images were captured on the same date at approximately the same time using each camera's programmed auto exposure mode. Both cameras were set to ISO 100 and AWB, with the D200 set for Normal Image Optimization and the 30D set to Standard Picture Style.
