Playback Features
Pressing the ![]() While viewing a picture full screen you can press the INFO button to see all the exposure details. The current image is displayed as a hi-res thumbnail with a histogram to show the dynamic range, the ISO equivalent, the recording mode, shutter speed, aperture, exposure compensation, white balance, metering mode, image size and quality, time and date.
Another feature of the info-playback thumbnail is that it will "blink" the area of the
image that it deems will be overexposed. You can use this as a visual warning that you
might need to adjust exposure compensation and re-shoot the picture.

Press the ![]()
Use the Auto Rotate menu option to display portrait mode images on
the LCD (and TV) in correct orientation. The camera has an orientation
sensor built in that will detect when it is used in vertical mode
and embeds this data in the header of the image file. The Canon Image
File Viewer and ZoomBrowser also use this data to properly display images.
