
The C912 is powered by the Digita Operating System by FlashPoint. The menu system is
very graphical and easy to follow, although at times it may take several button pushes to
get to the screen necessary to change a given setting.

The camera's menu system is accessed via the color LCD on the back and is activated by
presing the MENU button. Along the bottom of the LCD are three "soft" buttons whose
functions change according to the screen being displayed. Sometimes only the left and
right buttons will be active, this will be indicated by labels displayed directly above
the respective buttons. The menus are navigated with the 4-way switch in the center of
the Capture Mode dial to the left of the LCD screen.
There are four different sub menus available when in Record mode, each is shown
below in animated form with the settings for each explained.

- File Type - TIFF or JPG
- Quality Level - Good, Better or Best (JPG mode only)
- Resolution - Full Size (1600 x 1280) or 1/4 Size (800 x 640)
- Color - Full, Sepia or B&W

- Interval - Can be set for 15sec to 24hrs

Photo Assist
- AF Range - Normal or Macro
- White Balance - Auto, Daylight, Tungsten, Flourescent or 5500K
- AE Metering - Average, Center-Weighted or Spot
- Focus Lock - Single AF or Continuous AF
- ISO Speed - 25, 50, 100, 200, 400
- EV Bracket - Off, 0.5EV or 1.0EV
(Note: The PhotoAssist menu is not available when the exposure mode is set to Auto,
Portrait, Landscape, Close-up, Action or Night.)
