Construction worker and amateur photographer Wei Gensheng had a unique opportunity to capture aerial images of Shanghai while working on the world’s second largest building, the Shanghai Tower. Shooting with a Canon EOS 60D, one of Gensheng’s photos was so good that he took second prize in Shanghai City Photography competition.
According to Gensheng, he was positioned approximately 2,000 feet above the city and was able to capture images during different times of the day. The varied lighting situations and cloud cover across the city of Shanghai created many opportunities to capture extremely unique images. Check out our favorite shots below.
