When you select PLAY mode the last picture taken is displayed. You can move backward or forward through the
images using the LEFT and RIGHT buttons, press up to delete an image. The overlay information is displayed
briefly when a new image is selected. Press the MENU button for 2 seconds to display the extended exposure information (shown above).
Pressing the wide angle zoom button while in playback mode, will bring up an index of photos and videos that you have taken. Pressing it again brings up 22 different sized thumbnails, and pressing it a third time takes you to a list of folders that are saved on the memory card.
To zoom in on a photograph that you have taken press the tele-zoom button. This will allow you to zoom in up to 5750%, which is way to much to even tell what you are looking at.
When you come to a movie, it will be identified by the film pattern on the top and bottom of the screen. You will have only the option to play the video at this point.
Once you press the play button, the video will play and you will be given options for pausing, stopping or fast-forward, rewind capabilities.
Playback MENU 1:
Slide show - Playback all files
Play Volume - Adjust playback audio volume
Protect - Lock/Unlock files
Delete - Delete files from the memory card
Copy - Copy files from the internal memory to the memory card
DPOF - Specify printing instructions
Playback MENU 2:
Rotate - Rotate the image
Resize - Change the resolution of the image
Red Eye Correction - Removes red from the eyes of your photographs
Extract Still - Captures a single frame from a video and saves it as a .jpg image
Edit Video - ALlows you to edit your videos inside the camera
Smooth Playback - Smooth out live motion
Resize large images down to smaller images for email, web use or just to save space
on your SD card.
Lets you change the orientation of your images inside the camera.
Extract still allows you to save a frame from a video as a picture. This allows you to be able to print a shot out of a video.
Video edit allows you to edit your videos inside the camera without the need for a computer.
Smoothes out the videos that have taken, making them easier to watch.

OPERATION BEEP - Allows you to set beeps for different functions
POST VIEW - Display after capture: Off, 1 or 2 seconds
REC FOLDER - Choose which folder to save your images or create a new one
NOISE REDUCTION - Minimize noise in still images
IMAGE SETTINGS - Normal, Vivid, Soft, Soft Vivid
FLICKER REDUCT - Reduce fluorescent light flicker during video recording
DIGITAL ZOOM - Digital zoom on or off
SHORTCUTS - Assigns shortcuts to the left and right buttons
BRIGHTNESS - Adjusts the brightness of the LCD screen
LANGUAGE - Select one of the 14 different languages
TV SYSTEM - NTSC or PAL
POWER SAVE - Standby time for battery and external power
FILE NO. RESET - Continuous or reset (file numbering)
FORMAT - Format the SD Card
RESET SETTINGS - Resets all camera settings to default
