![]() Click on the Coolpix L10 to take a QuickTime VR tour Nikon has introduced three new "L" or “Life” Series cameras to their COOLPIX family. Designed with the casual snap-shooter in mind, the Nikon COOLPIX L18 combines high-quality design and construction with user-friendly features at affordable prices. The camera sports a sharp 3x optical Zoom-Nikkor glass lens, a bright LCD and a lightweight, ultra-portable body. Additionally, the new "L" series camera boast impressive battery life, and higher light sensitivity, which makes it easy to produce better pictures in marginal lighting. Designed for the entry-level digital photographer, the L18 boasts an 8.0 megapixel imaging sensor, allowing the consumer to generate high-quality prints in a variety of sizes. Featuring a sharp 3x Zoom-Nikkor glass lens, and a high light sensitivity up to ISO 1600, which makes it easy to produce better pictures in low light situations. Also included is a 3" LCD screen allowing for easy framing and viewing of your images Nikon has incorperated it's EXPEED imaging sensor, ensuring high-quality pictures with stunning color and sharpness. EXPEED is custom-tuned for COOLPIX and applied optimized technologies the render natural-looking pictures of incredible quality and quick response so you will not miss that special moment.
Nikon has also incorporated user-friendly Imaging Innovations into the entire line of COOLPIX cameras,
designed to ease the picture-taking process for the consumer. The L18 includes: In-Camera Red-Eye Fix, which will automatically look for and fixes most instances of red-eye. Face Priority AF is Nikon’s face-finding technology that quickly finds and focuses on up to 12 faces in a group portrait. D-Lighting will rescue those photos that are too dark for printing by enhancing the underexposed areas of the picture while not touching the properly exposed areas.
