When you press the Playback button, the last image taken is displayed. You can see icons for battery condition, image size, picture number / total number of pictures. Across the bottom is the folder name, image file number and time and date.

Press the Monitor button to toggle the display of the exposure compensation, ISO speed, flash, white balance, aperture, shutter speed and the histogram graph. Press it again to clear all of the overlay information for playback on the TV screen.

Pressing the wide angle zoom control enables the Index Playback mode. You can display 6 or 12 thumbnail size images per page. This allows you to quickly search through the stored images and display one full screen (press the telephoto zoom control).

While viewing a picture fullscreen you can toggle the telephoto zoom control and zoom-in to the image in multiple steps up to 5x. Once magnified you can scroll around inside of the image using the 4-way selector.

Playback menu options:

    Delete - Delete single, multiple, or all images in folder
    Slide show - Start and automated slideshow of stored images
    Retouch - Soft Focus, Partial Color, Fisheye lens, Cross Filter, Trimming, Red eye correction
    Protect - Protect images from deletion
    DPOF - Turn on/off print mark on selected image
    Print - When connected to a compatible printer
    Rotate - Rotate and image for proper display
    Folder - Choose folder for playback

The Retouch option gives access to various image editing tools, like Partial Color shown here. See the Playback menu (above) for a list of all the settings available.

To access all of the Setup options available, you have to use the Home menu. Doing so allows you to adjust the Main, Shooting mode, Clock and Language settings.

The HOME menu is the gateway screen for all the functions of your camera. Here you can select the shooting mode or playback mode as well as change camera settings all from this screen.
