Playback Mode Screens & Menus

Here you can see a typical Playback screen with icons for battery condition, image size, picture number / total number of pictures, and the date & time of capture. Across are bottom the active icons that allow you to enter the Menu system and scroll through your stored images.

Pressing the Monitor button toggles the display of the exposure compensation (0EV), ISO speed (100), flash mode (Forced Off), white balance (AWB), shutter speed (500), aperture (F5.6) and the histogram graph. Press it again to clear all of the overlay information for slideshow playback on the TV screen.

While viewing a picture fullscreen you can toggle the telephoto zoom control and zoom-in to the image in multiple steps up to 5x. Once magnified you can scroll around inside of the image using the onscreen 4-way selector.

Press the wide angle zoom control button to enter index mode, six or twenty thumbnail size images are displayed per page. This allows you to quickly search through you pictures.

Still image playback mode options:

    Delete - This image, Multiple images, All in this folder

    Slide Show - Start slideshow

    Retouch - Soft Focus, Partial Color, Fisheye Lens, Cross Filter, Trimming, Red Eye Correction

    Protect - This image, Multiple images

    DPOF - This image, Multiple images

    Print - Print

    Rotate - Rotate portrait mode images for TV display

    Select Folder - Change the current image folder

The Retouch option allows you to use creative settings such as the fisheye lens (shown above).

The Rotate option lets you rotate portrait mode images for correct playback on the LCD or TV screen.

Movies are played back full-screen, audio is replayed through the speaker.

Once playing, you can stop, rewind or fast-forward the video.

SETUP menu:

    Beep - On, off

    Function Guide - On, off

    Initialize - Reset all settings to default

    USB Connect - PictBridge, Mass Storage, Auto

    Component - HD(1080i), SD

    Video Out - NTSC or PAL signal timing

    AF Illuminator - Autofocus assist lamp: Auto or Off

    Grid Line - On, off

    AF Mode - Single, Monitor (continuous AF when LCD is on)

    Digital Zoom - Enable or disable the Smart or Precision digital zoom

    Auto Orientation - On, off

    Auto Review - On, Off (auto review after capture)

    Clock Set - Set the internal clock

    Language - Menu language
