

Pressing the Play/Review button brings up the last image captured in full screen mode with
the minimal data overlayed. Pressing the 4-way "Right" or "Left" lets you move through the
stored images. The OSD Info option in the menu controls the amount of overlay information
that will be displayed.
Here you can see the extended exposure information display: ISO, aperture, shutter speed,
flash mode, image size, and date captured.
Pressing the wide angle zoom control brings up the thumbnail index mode, here you can quickly
search through the stored images and select one for full screen playback.
While an image is displayed full screen you can magnify it by pressing the telephoto zoom
control. Once magnified you can scroll around inside of it using the 4-way selector. You
can enlarge up to 14.3x in several steps. While magnified, a thumbnail of the entire image is
displayed in the upper left of the LCD, indicating the area of the image that is enlarged.
Movie clips playback fullscreen, you can play or pause playback, and even capture a still
image.
You can also use the trim option after a movie is paused.
The Play mode menu, here you can choose the slideshow settings, Protect pictures from
deletion, Delete an image, choose the DPOF settings, Copy to from internal memory to the SD
card or visa versa, and choose the settings for the OSD Info option. You can also see the
sound and Setup menu (shown below.)
The "E"ffects menu has options (Resize, Rotate, Colors, Special Colors, Image Adjust, and
Fun) that allow you to be a bit more creative with your images.
You can record and attach a 10-second audio memo to still images.
And you can playback recorded audio.
The Sound and Setup menu tabs (same in record and play) let you set the volume and sound options, file numbering to be sequential or reset each time a new card is inserted. Set the language, Date&Time, Imprint, LCD brightness, enable or disable the AF assist lamp, start image, review time, power off time delay, LCD save on or off, video out (NTSC or PAL format), Format the memory, and reset all settings to their default values. |
