Here's a live screen showing the AUTO record mode. Icons across the top indicate the flash is
in Auto mode, 8.0MP image size, 361 pictures remaining. In the lower right the camera icon indicates it is in the auto mode.
When you half-press the shutter to achieve the focus and exposure lock, the AF target marks will
turn green and show what area it is focusing on.
Scene mode lets you select from: portrait, panorama left-right, panorama right-left, sport, landscape, close-up, night landscape, night portrait, snow, beach, text/document, fireworks, flower, manner/museum, self
portrait, party, children, backlight, panning shot, candle light, sunset. As you navigate the menu, a description of each mode and hints for using it are presented.

Set Album - Select an image folder Image Storage - Auto (select card if used or internal) or Internal Setup Menu - Enter SETUP menu
Here you can see PASM record mode. It allows more control over the exposure process. Icons
indicate Auto flash mode, 8.0MP image size, 361 pictures remaining, optional SD card is being
used, Program mode, exposure compensation (-0.3), and the ISO is set to 800. To
change from Program to Manual mode press up or down on the 4-way controller.
Manual mode is just like Program, but allows you to set the desired aperture values and shutter speed. The "-5.3" is the exposure indicator. You want to
get it as close to 0.0 as possible. Again, the 4-way controller is used to change these settings.
P/M menu options:

The C875 has a very respectable macro (close-up) focusing mode with coverage from 4 in.-2.3 ft (0.1-0.7 m) in wide, 2.3-3.3 ft (0.7-1.0 m) in tele.
You can record VGA 640 x 480 or QVGA 320 x 240 motion video with audio. The length
of the movies is dependent on available space on your memory card. You can select a
maximum clip length of 5, 15 or 30 seconds if desired. The optical zoom works while recording but you can hear a slight motor whine from it on audio.
Video Record menu options:
