When you switch to Play mode the last picture captured is displayed full screen with a minimal amount of overlay information.

Press the DISPLAY button to show the exposure and image information.

While viewing an image full screen, you can move the zoom control lever to the telephoto position and magnify an image up to 6.4x. You can move around the image using the 4-way selector to examine the picture for color, focus, etc.

Pressing the Index button behind the color LCD enables the thumbnail index mode. It displays 9 thumbnails per page to quickly locate a desired image on your memory card. The "movie camera" icon indicates that the image is a video file.

While the movie is playing, the run time is displayed across the bottom of the screen. You can press the DISPLAY button to clear the overlay information when desired.

The PLAY MENU has options for Protecting, Rotating, Slideshow, DPOF printing, Resizing and Deleting.
