Pressing the Play button on the back brings up the image last captured. There
is very little overlay information. Only the image size (1600x1200), quality
(Normal), file number, memory source, battery level indicator, and time and
date of capture are shown. Pressing the 4-way controller left or right scrolls
through the stored images.
Pressing the DISP button enables the display of all of the exposure data: Shutter
speed, aperture, ISO value, Best Shot, Flash mode, White Balance and Metering option
as well as the histogram.

Pressing the Wide Angle zoom button while in Playback brings up the 9-per-screen thumbnail
index mode, here you can quickly search through the stored images and select one for full
screen playback.

While an image is displayed full screen you can magnify it up to 4x by pressing the
telephoto side of the zoom lens control. Once magnified you can scroll around inside of
it using the 4-way selector.

Movie clips playback fullscreen continuously, the 4-way selector acts as the start, stop and
pause control.

The large 6-megapixel images can be down-sampled in the camera to smaller sizes. This
is handy if you start to run out of recording space but don't want to delete any
of your already saved images.

Images can be selected for later printing using the DPOF (digital print order form)
function. You can select the images you want printed and the number of copies of each.
This DPOF information can be used by photo printers with built-in card slots or at photo
printing kiosks or photo finishing services.

The Trimming function lets you crop out a portion of a large image and save it to a
smaller image size.

The Copy function lets you copy image files to/from the camera's internal memory and
to/from a flash memory card.
![]() As with other Casio "QV" digicams, the QV-R62 has the ability to generate photo albums using standard HTML web browser formatting. These HTML pages can be viewed locally on your computer using your browser or they can be posted on the Internet to be viewed by others. You can generate two types of albums, Normal or Index. The Normal type shows the full images, the Index type shows smaller thumbnail images that open into other windows when clicked. |
