Record Modes

(Note: The EX-Z750 does not output video in record mode so some of these screens have been "borrowed" from the EX-P700 or from the user manual.)

The Snapshot screen showing Flash is forced Off, Single shot, Matrix metering, Exposure compensation +0.0EV, and spot focus. The image size is 3072x2304 and Fine quality has been selected, we can shoot 197 more frames at this size/quality, the battery is showing a full charge and we are using an optional SD memory card.

When you half-press the shutter release the camera sets the exposure and locks the focus, if successful the AF target marks turn green.

The Best Shot mode features different pre-programmed exposure scenes to make photographic tasks easier. You select the scene that best fits your needs and the camera makes all the necessary settings for you.

The Best Shot scenes:

Portrait, Scenery, Portrait w/Scenery, Soft Focus, Children, Sports, Candlelight Portrait, Party, Pet, Flower, Natural Green, Soft Flowing Water, Splashing Water, Sundown, Night Scene, Night Scene Portrait, Fireworks, Food, Text, Collection, Monochrome, Retro (Sepia), Twilight, Business Card, Whiteboard and Register Favorites (custom build your own Best Shot scene).

The Manual mode lets you choose from one of three exposure modes: Manual where you select both the aperture and shutter speed manually. Aperture-priority mode allows you to select either F2.8 or F4 and the camera automatically matches the proper shutter speed. Shutter speed priority mode lets you select a shutter speed from 60 to 1/1600 seconds and the camera selects the aperture. (The EX-Z750 does not have a Manual focus mode, this screenshot was from another model.)
