Program recording mode - onscreen icons indicate
space for another 210 pictures on the SD card and the battery
level is full. The white brackets in the center is the auto focus area.
When the shutter is half-pressed and the auto focus is locked, the AF bracket
will turn green, the selected shutter speed and aperture value
is also displayed.
Pressing the DISPLAY button turns the color LCD on/off and also controls
how much information is shown on top of the live image. Here we have all
the exposure information enabled including the real time histogram.
Overexposed areas are highlighted.
Pressing the Fn button brings up this shortcut menu to
quickly change user-selected exposure parameters with the 4-way controller.
The functions of the 4-way controller are registered in the Setup menu.

The PICTure Modes available are: Landscape, Surf & Snow, Sunset, Flower, Autumn Colors,
Food, Portrait, Self Portrait, Sport, Night Scene, Night Scene Portrait, Fireworks.
The Digital Filter Modes are: Black and White, Sepia, Red, Pink, Purple, Blue,
Green, Yellow and Soft.
In Super Macro Mode you can close focus from 0.79 inches to 2.13 feet with excellent
results. The regular Macro mode covers a range from 5.9 inches to 2.13 ft . The
flash is disabled in Super Macro Mode.
Movie mode lets you record motion JPEG at 640x480 or 320x240 resolution at 15 or
30fps, monaural audio is also recorded. The length of movies is limited only
by available memory space; the amount of time remaining is displayed at the
upper right of the LCD. In addition to full color, movies can be recorded
in black & white, or sepia.
The 750Z can be used as a voice-only recorder too.
If you are using the 750Z as a companion to film camera, its Digital Exposure Metering mode
will help you determine the appropriate exposure settings.
Menu options allow you to select ISO from a range of 6 to 6400, exposure steps of 1/3 or 1/2 EV, and Black & White or Full Color. |
