(All screens can be displayed on either the EVF or the LCD.)
When you select Playback mode the last picture taken is displayed. You can
move backward or forward through the images using the LEFT and RIGHT buttons. The
amount of overlay information displayed is controlled by pressing the DISP button.
This is all the information that can be displayed, there is no extended exposure
information available.
You can quickly search through stored images using the Index playback
function, which is activated by pressing the DISP button. Nine thumbnail size
images will be displayed and you can select one using the LEFT or RIGHT
buttons and then pressing the Telephoto zoom button.
The image can be magnified in several steps by pressing the telephoto zoom button.
Once the image is enlarged at any step, you can move around (Pan) inside of it.
Movie clips can be played in the camera or viewed on a TV using the video
cable. Due to not having a built-in microphone, no audio is played back.
Pressing the MENU button lets you Erase a single frame or all frames, Embed
DPOF printing information, Protect or unprotect image(s), enter the SetUp
menu, adjust the LCD/EVF's brightness, start a slideshow, or Trim (crop) the
selected image.
SetUp menu in Record and Play modes:
IMAGE DISP. - Off/On, Allows review of capture for 2 seconds
POWER SAVE - 2min/5 min/off
FORMAT - Formats the xD-Picture Card
BEEP - Volume of camera sounds, Low/High/Off
DATE/TIME - setting of date and time
TIME DIFFERENCE - Specifies the time difference settings
FRAME NO. - Continuous or Renew
USB MODE - DSC (Mass storage), Web (Web cam mode), PictBridge
LANGUAGE - Choose menu language
VIDEO SYSTEM - NTSC or PAL video signal timing
DISCHARGE - Discharges rechargeable batteries
RESET - resets all camera settings to default
