When you move the sliding mode switch o the Playback position, the last image
captured is displayed full screen. This is a usual playback image with
minimal information enabled. The "music note" indicates that there is a voice
memo attached, and the "key" shows that this image is protected.

Here's a playback image with the Info option enabled which displays the image
quality (SH), image size (3M), exposure compensation (0.0), white
balance (Auto), date and time of capture, and the folder name and file number.

Press the wide angle zoom button to enter the Index playback mode. Depending on the
menu setting, the index is 4, 9, 16 or 25 images per page.

The playback image can be magnified in six steps from 1.5x to 4.0x in 0.5x
increments, you can then scroll around the image using the jog dial.
Press the telephoto zoom button to enlarge and the wide angle button to
shrink.

Movie clips can be played back on the camera's LCD or a television set via
the supplied Audio/Video cable. Thanks to the built in microphone and
speaker, audio is also played back.

The Index option in the playback menu grabs nine frames from a movie clip
and saves them as a new 1024x768 still image.
