The Pro EX-P600 is Casio's latest addition to its growing family of Exilim series cameras. It's a compact, high-performance camera that combines a high-resolution 6-Megapixel effective imager, a Canon 4x optical zoom lens and a large two-inch color LCD, all housed in a lightweight, stylish and durable stainless steel body. Designed for both the beginner and advanced photographers, the EX-P600 offers an array of exposure modes and innovative features not found in other compact digital cameras.

The EX-P600 is ready to go within two seconds of pressing the power button and can capture the action at a blazing 3 frames per second. The shutter lag time is an amazing 0.01 seconds from auto focus lock. It can grow with your abilities, the Program Auto and Best Shot exposure modes allow anyone to take great pictures easily and more advanced users will appreciate the Shutter-speed priority, Aperture priority and full Manual exposure modes. Adjustable ISO sensitivity, white balance, sharpness, saturation, contrast, multiple metering and focus modes. JPEG and TIFF uncompressed image formats, Auto Bracketing of exposure, white balance and focus and Multi-Bracketing of color effects and contrast are just some of its advanced features.

Compose your images with the coupled optical viewfinder or use the bright and large 2-inch color LCD with its unique Ex Finder display. Casio has developed a graphical information overlay that gives you real-time display of the major recording settings. When in Shutter-speed or Aperture priority mode you can call up an on-screen aid that graphically explains the difference in fast and slow shutter speeds and open and closed apertures. And Casio's Best Shot mode offers you 25 pre-programmed scene modes to handle the usual to unusual shooting situations. You can create and save your own custom Best Shot scenes.

The EX-P600 offers exceptional battery life of up to 260 shots (130 minutes) or up to 300 minutes of playback time thanks to its high-capacity Li-ion rechargeable battery. It has 9MB of internal memory that's easily expanded with any size SD card. The included PhotoLoader software automatically transfers all JPEG and AVI files in the camera to the computer whenever you connect the USB cable. USB Mass Storage compliant, no drivers needed for most modern operating systems. Images can be stored in HTML albums so they can be viewed easily with any modern web browser.

You can record 320x240 motion video with audio and voice memos that can be played back in the camera thanks to its built-in speaker. The Calendar feature shows you thumbnails of photos on the day they were taken. World Time lets you select one of 162 cities in 32 time zones as your home or destination time zone. You can also store special photographs or photos you don't want others to see in the "Favorites folder". Direct USB printing to PictBridge and Epson Direct-Print compatible printers. Intelligent orientation sensor automatically rotates portrait mode images for correct playback on LCD and TV screens. Full-featured infrared remote control for wireless operation of shutter and zoom lens with access to the menus.
