The screen display in record mode. Icons across the top indicate record mode, 2048 x
1536 image size and fine quality. We have space left for 137 more pictures. Auto flash,
Auto white balance, battery is full, zoom lens gauge, an optional SD card is
being used and the time and date.
Record mode menu options:
Capture Mode - Single, Continuous or Selftimer
Quality Setup Fine, Normal, Economy
Image Size 2048x1536, 1600x1200, 1280x960 or 640x480
Scene Selection Off, Party/Indoor, Beach/Snow, Sunset, Night Landscape,
Fireworks and Night Portrait
White Balance - Auto, Sunny, Fluorescent, Tungsten
Exposure Compensation - Override the metering +/- 2.0EV in 1/3 steps
Setup - Enter Setup menu (See Below)
The Macro mode has coverage down to as close as 10 cm.
The Eye-Q 3340Z can record movie clips with audio at 30 frames per second in 320x240
resolution. The format is Motion JPEG and saved as Windows AVI files.
The length is limited only by available memory.
Play Mode Screens & Menus
When you select Playback mode the last picture taken is displayed. You can
move backward or forward through the images using the LEFT and RIGHT buttons. The
amount of overlay information displayed is controlled by pressing the DISP button.
You can quickly search through stored images using the Index playback function
which is actuated from the menu. Nine thumbnail size
images will be displayed and you can select one using the LEFT or RIGHT buttons
and then pressing the OK button.
The image can be magnified up to 6x in three steps by pressing the telephoto zoom button.
Once the image is enlarged at any step, you can move around inside of it using the 4-way
selector buttons.
Movie clips can be played in the camera or on your TV using the supplied video cable.
Pressing the MENU button allows you to Delete images, display the thumbnail index page
or enter Setup menu.
The Setup sub-menu lets you set the Auto Off time delay, select the video format (NTSC
or PAL), set the menu language, restore default settings, adjust the LCD brightness,
format the SD card, set the time and date, set the date format, display camera info.
