(All these screens can be displayed on either the EVF or the color LCD. The color LCD has more resolution but the EVF is easier to see when outdoors.)

The AUTO screen display. This is the "point-n-shoot" mode where the camera sets everything for the user automatically. The only menu options are the image size / quality and to enable the selftimer.

After half-pressing the shutter release the auto focus and exposure is set and you will see the selected shutter speed and aperture settings. The "[   ]" in the center is where the autofocus performs its calculations.

QUALITY - Select image size: 3M, 2M, 1M, 0.3M
SELF-TIMER - Enable 10-second selftimer
EV - Exposure compensation -2.1EV to +1.5EV in 0.3EV steps
SETUP - Set LCD backlight or enter SETUP menu
WB - White balance: Auto, Fine, Shade, Daylight Fluorescent, Warm White Fluorescent, Fluorescent (Cool White), Incandescent Light
A.PRIORITY - Auto or F2.8, F4.8 or F8.2
SHARPNESS - Soft, Normal or Hard
FLASH - Adjust the flash output -0.6, -0.3, 0.0, +0.3, +0.6
