Included with the FinePix S3000 is this AR-FX3 lens adapter that allows you to attach
auxiliary lenses (Wide Conversion
Lens WL-FX9, Tele Conversion Lens TL-FX9) and 55mm filters.
![]()
Even when not using auxiliary lenses or filters, the AR-FX3 lens adapter can be used to
protect the lens when it is extended. I would suggest that you purchase a good 55mm
UV or Skylight filter to fully protect the lens.

![]() Power is supplied by four AA batteries, alkaline, NiMH or lithium type may be used. We, of course, recommend the use of NiMH rechargeable batteries , they pack more power and they're reusable. Fuji lists the battery life at 350 frames with the LCD on and 400 frames with the EVF using alkaline batteries. When using fully charged 2100mAh NiMH batteries you can raise that to 400 frames w/LCD and 450 frames w/EVF. In future models that use either 2-AA or 4-AA batteries we would also like the option of using Li-ion CR-V3 type batteries (hint, hint Mr Fuji). They're lighter and they hold a charge longer than NiMH cells. |
