The LCD screens in this review had to be photographed as there is no video out-
port on the F410. LCD monitors were
never designed with enough resolution to be photographed. So we hope you understand why these
screen captures are not up to our usual standard.
Above is the display while in Auto record mode. The line of info across the top starts on the left with a red box containing a camera icon and "A" which is the symbol for Auto Record mode. The "3M" represents image resolution of 3 megapixel (2048x1536) and the "323" represents the quantity of frames that can be recorded on the xD card at the current image size.
The yellow bracket denotes the auto focus area. When the shutter
release is half depressed, the brackets get smaller and the aperture and shutter speed
values are displayed at the bottom. If that speed is below 1/60 of
a second, a camera shake warning icon (
Pressing the DISPlay button next to the LCD toggles from the above screen to the live image
without any data display. Pressing it again brings up the grid screen in both Auto or Manual
Record.

CONT.inuous: Final 4: Shoot up to 25 frames and only last 4 recorded, TOP 4: up to 4 frames @ 0.3sec. interval, OFF SHOOTING MODE: Auto or Manual OPTION: SETUP Click here to see options
This is the Manual record screen, the only real difference is the upper left icon.
In the Manual mode you have access to the same options as Auto mode plus you also
have White Balance and Exposure Compensation options.
WHITE BALANCE Modes: Auto, Daylight, Shade, "Daylight" Fluorescent, "Warm White" Fluorescent, "cool white" Fluorescent, Incandescent

The Movie record mode display. The top info line indicates the movie
quality mode of 320x240 followed by the remaining recording time at
this quality setting. The green "Standby" indicates the camera is ready to record when
the shutter release is pressed. The F410 records motion video with audio at 10fps in
320x240 or 160x120 resolution, maximum length is 120 seconds. The optical zoom lens is
locked to wide angle but the digital zoom is useable.
