A typical playback screen as viewed on the color LCD or EVF. Icons shown for battery condition (both graphical and time left in minutes), image size, folder name, picture number / total number of pictures and time and date.

Extended image data (exposure compensation, ISO, metering mode, flash mode, white balance, shutter speed and aperture) and a histogram can be displayed by pressing the Monitor button.

Playback index mode, nine thumbnail size images are displayed per page. You can quickly search through the stored images and display one full screen by selecting it and then pressing the telephoto zoom button.

While viewing a picture press the Magnifying Glass button to enter zoom playback mode, enlarge the image up to 5x by rotating the command dial. Once magnified you can scroll around inside of the image using the 4-way selector.

Playback mode menu options:

Folder - Select the image folder

Protect - Protect/unprotect images from accidental erasure

DPOF - Attach DPOF printing information to image(s)

Print - Print photo via USB/PictBridge

Slide - Start slideshow, set interval time between images

Resize - Resize image to 5M, 3M, 1M, VGA

ROTATE - Rotate portrait mode images for TV display

DIVIDE - Divide MPEG movie clips

Full screen 640x480 VX movie playback. Playback volume is adjusted using the Up and Down portion of the 4-way selector. The length of video clips can be edited by using the Divide option of the Menu.
