![]() Across the top from left to right: Flash status, image quality (2 stars for 1752x1168 or 1 star for 876x584), number of pictures remaining and the memory source (internal or card).
Not shown is the Quickview option which will display the picture just taken for about four
seconds with the Trashcan icon enabled so you can immediately delete it before it is stored.
If you do nothing the image will be stored.

If the LCD is enabled you can use the Digital Zoom feature in Record mode by pressing the
JoyStick to the right. The digital zoom is variable from 1.1x to 3.0x and is indicated by
an icon on the left of the screen.
![]() Pressing the MENU button while in Record mode lets you change the following options:
Quality - Best 1752 x 1168 or Good 876 x 584 (should be called Size as there is no setting for JPEG quality, just image size) Image Storage - Internal or Auto (if CF card is inserted then it uses it) Date Stamp - Off, YYYY MM DD, MM DD YYYY, or DD MM YYYY (overlay date stamp in lower right hand corner of picture) Quickview - Off or On (display picture just taken and allow for deletion)

On record of a movie the info bar across the top of screen denotes the record
movie mode, quality setting (2 stars - Best 320x240 or 1 star - Good 160x120),
length of maximum recording in MM:SS limited by the media's remaining space and
which media the movie is to be recorded on.

Date & Time - Set the time and date Video Out - NTSC or PAL format Video Playback Display - overlays record date on movie playback for 1st 5 seconds Language - Menu language Image Storage - Internal or MM / SD card About - Display firmware revision number Format - Format the memory card or internal memory

The typical Playback screen displays the last image recorded on power-up and denotes the
frame number and what media is being read (internal or card.)

Delete - Erase displayed image or all images Image Storage - Auto: fills card then built-in memory, Internal Memory: internal only. Protect - locks image from deletion Slide Show - Begin Show: starts play all images, Exit: returns to menu, Interval: settable 5-60 seconds per image Copy to Card - Picture displayed or All images on local memory copied to MM/SD card
![]() The Zoom Playback function is accessed via the first selection in the Play Menu and allows zooming to 2x and then navigation around the image using the joystick control. |
