This is the D-380's Record mode screen showing onscreen data overlay. Starting in the upper
left corner the encircled 'lightning bolt' indicates the flash is cancelled manually. It can
also be just a 'lightning bolt' for force flash, 'bolt' with auto (default) is Auto flash
'bolt' with 'eye' is forced flash with red-eye reduction, 'lightning bolt' with "SLOW"
indicates slow shutter sync flash and it can add "red-eye reduction" to that mode. The
current Image quality setting is "SHQ" indicating 1600 x 1208 image size with standard JPEG
compression. The green "82" indicates the number of pictures remaining at the current size
and quality setting.

This is the recording screen when you are in the Movie mode - note the little icon of the movie
camera in the upper right. The flash is disabled and the default setting is for HQ quality
(320 x 240). The green 410" indicates that there is enough memory on the card to record 410
seconds of video.That is not how long it will record if the shutter button is depressed - it is
max Movie space on the card at 320 x 240 Movie Mode. The maximum movie recording per clip is
15 seconds in HQ and 60 seconds in the SQ mode (160 x 120).
