Onscreen icons for battery condition (both graphical icon and numerical), flash mode (or output strength), image size and quality, space remaining on Memory Stick (grapical and numerical), self-timer, macro focus or manual focus preset distance, spot metering, white balance (other than auto), center focusing guide marks.

Still image record mode options:

Exposure compensation - Override the metering +/-2EV in 1/3EV increments

Focus - Auto or preset 0.5m, 1m, 3m, 7m infinity

White Balance - Automatic, Indoor, Outdoor or Hold

Spot Meter - Enable or disable spot metering option

ISO - Auto or fixed at 100, 200 or 400

Image Size - 1600x1200, 1600 (3:2 ratio), 1024x768, 640x480

Picture Quality - Fine or Standard

Record Mode - Normal, Email, Text (monochrome GIF), TIFF

Flash Level - High, Normal or Low

Picture Effect - None, Negative Art, Sepia, B&W, Solarize

Sharpness - Default is 0 but may be +1, +2 or -1 or -2

Typical Movie recording mode screen display. New on the P50 and P30 cameras is the MPEG EX movie mode that can record motion clips limited only by the capacity of your Memory Stick:

4MB = 320x240 - 42sec, 160x112 - 2:43
64MB = 320x240 - 11:47, 160x112 - 45:36
