Remote Capture

The Remote Capture program for Windows 98/2000 allows you to operate the G2 camera while tethered to a computer via the USB port. It gives you the ability to change the most-used camera settings such as the zoom, flash, macro mode, white balance, exposure compensation and the size and quality of the image.

Unlike the earlier version of Remote Capture, the new v2.0 now can be set to give you a "live" viewfinder display before you snap the shutter.

It also has options to allow the video output signal to be sent to a TV or other video device and you can also enable or disable the camera's LCD display.

The Remote Capture program is capable of interval and timer recording as well as instantaneous. These two screens shows the parameters that you can set in these two modes.
