Sony MVC-FD97

A typical playback screen as viewed on either the EVF or the color LCD. Icons shown for battery condition (both graphical and time left in minutes), image size and quality, picture number / total number of pictures. Across the bottom is the folder name, image file number and time and date.

While viewing a picture fullscreen you can toggle the telephoto zoom control and zoom-in to the image in multiple steps up to 5x. Once magnified you can scroll around inside of the image using the 4-way selector.

Playback index mode, nine thumbnail size images are displayed per page. You can quickly search through the stored images and display one fullscreen.

Play mode menu options:

INDEX - Display stored images in thumbnail format, 9 per page

DELETE - Erase image

FILE - Format (Memory Stick or Floppy), Slideshow playback mode, Print Mark - embed DPOF printing information, Protect or unprotect image from erasure

TOOL - Copy images to/from Memroy Stick or floppy diskette, Resize image (1600x1200, 1024x768, 640x480)

SETUP - Video Out (NTSC or PAL), Language (English/Japanese), Clock Set, Beep (On, Off, Shutter), LCD brightness adjustment
